As I lift the tree the stump is held tight in the stand and the
legs don't bend.
I have driven the cleat into the butt.
Weaved the strap through the branches and tightened the ratchet.
When I was dragging this tree from th field I was thinking,
" This is heavy, I'm getting to old for this."
I have been ask how much weight the stand will hold so I check this tree, it was about 150 pounds with all the frozen rain water in it.
After that weight check I guess I did Ok dragging the tree out after all.
Up the tree goes. Looks like I will need a shower and a drink.
We left the tree to melt over night then I tilted the tree and the stand and slid the 3 gallon water basin under the butt.
