Let me tell you this,
I received my Grinnen's Last Stand late last week and couldn't be happier.
This weekend, I set up the Christmas
tree in my house. It took me 10 minutes to set it up using the Last Stand! Mind you, the stand s large enough to easily accommodate
a very big tree. Because of space considerations, however, our tree
is only 8' tall which means the trunk is only about 4" in
diameter.
To take advantage of the large stabilizer pin at the bottom of the Last Stand, I drilled a small pilot hole in the
center of the freshly trimmed trunk and set the bottom stabilizer with a few strikes from a hammer. Having the stabilizer pin in
the
center of the trunk helps assure a stable treed, however, it also mean the
trunk was a good 1" - 1.5" away from the upright support.
To fix this, I popped some small pieces of 1x2 between the upright support and the trunk to act as spacers/shims and easily ratched
the strap around the trunk. I filled the water basin and easily placed it under the tree and because
of it's size, I can easily tell
when the tree needs more water.
It took one-third the time and effort to use the Last Stand compared to the other stands on the market
and, trust me, I have one of almost every model.
What a great product!

Jim,
I couldn't be happier.
My brother saw your display at the New York State Fair several years ago.
Then, when he heard I needed a good
stand, he searched through his receipts
and found the one for your stand in 1997. And, that is how I found you.
It is everything
you say it is.
Thanks so much and Merry Christmas!!
Dan & Lori Mc.
Morgan & Erin too!

Hello
Just
wanted to say that this is the 3rd year I've been using your stand and it is great. I have cats and dogs - never fell. No more string.
I've
been trying to convince people about your stand - they think I'm crazy when
I start bragging about it. They're just jealous.
I've noticed
with a smaller tree - you sometimes have to insert a shingle
(piece of wood to make it straight). Have you thought of modifying stand
at all
(maybe insert bolts above crank that allow to adjust tree for straightness).
Other than that perfect. It holds tree so
well that I could climb the tree myself
(but I would probably break the branches).
Hope you have a great Christmas
Sincerely,
Franco
